It’s great to be able to say that Spring is finally on it’s way, and the children are observing this during trips into the woodland in normal sessions, and also Muddy Bunnies Forest school sessions. We have created a sign for our bug hotel, where the children worked very hard sawing the log with staff, started to create a wigwam and also built our boat up, (supporting our pirate topic).
We have identified daffodils, snowdrops and bluebells sprouting, and have noted that some trees are also in bud and blossom.
The Easter break creates a great window for the woods to continue this growth ready for us to come back and see the changes when term starts again. Even if you don’t attend forest school please feel free to take a little walk up in the woodland area after session one day to see our lovely area we feel privileged to have the use of.
