Banstead Bunnies Preschool aims to inspire curiosity in a learning space that is safe and nurturing. It is a place for growing minds to develop and challenge ideas as they form the building blocks for future discoveries. At Bunnies, we offer sessional care and education, 5 days a week for children age 2 years until they start infant school. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), caring for and considering each child as an individual, providing a well balanced, adaptive preschool education. We observe, reflect and plan continuous provision to make learning fun, supporting your child at every stage of their learning journey. Children develop skills to prepare them for their transition to infant school and beyond.

Children at Bunnies participate in insightful, exploratory play. These include focus and free choice play that encourages agency and autonomy. Children have the flexibility to move freely between our indoor and outdoor area.

Our activities are offered through the four main principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage

Children who require additional support on their learning journey are supported with a bespoke learning plan. Parents and practitioners work in partnership to ensure the child can access a supportive and progressive environment.

Some children qualify for Early Years Pupil Premium Funding.
