Thank you to all of those who collected the Sainsbury’s Active Kids Vouchers. We actually collected over two and a half thousand vouchers and our goodies have just arrived!¬†We decided to choose equipment that lots of the children can enjoy at the same time together, rather than say just another trike (which I would like to add was 3331 vouchers!!) which only one child can play on at once, and also covering different areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. photo

As you can see we have a pop up target to assist and develop of gross motor skills and physical development. Katcha Kups which assist hand eye co-ordination. We chose some ropes that will be used for den building, compasses which the children enjoy incorporating into their role play and imaginative games, a few brooms for our budding gardeners and cleaners! The rings streamers make music and movement fun, and our teaching aid cards relate to parachute play to assist the staff.

Finally we are still waiting on a large black tray, like the one we use for show and tell, which will be used across all areas of learning for a variety of activities.

We are hoping the children will really enjoy them.
